In October 2019, inspired by their own migration journey, Ale invited Clau to join her project and launched 'Gals en Australia' with a mission to connect, empower, and uplift women in their community.

Beginning with free workshops in Melbourne, they sought to provide the tools for both personal and professional growth. From improving LinkedIn profile and honing interview skills to navigating emotional wellbeing, they offered a wide spectrum of support.

In July 2022, Claudia chose to resign from Gals en Australia, pivoting her focus towards her Master's degree and professional commitments.

Fast forward to today, we are immensely proud of the thriving community that's home to over 14,000+ women. They've built not just a group, but a support network far from home, providing support and a safe space to those who've taken that brave leap into the unknown, just like they did.
